The Ezra Company Negotiates 15,270-Square-Foot Lease in Reston for Distributed Solutions
January 10, 2012 (Washington, D.C.) – A software-solutions company in Northern Virginia has inked a long-term lease extension that lowers its rental rate and provides other strong concessions.
The Washington, D.C.-based Ezra Company, one of the leading commercial real estate firms in the nation that exclusively represents tenants, announces today that it has negotiated on behalf of Distributed Solutions in a 15,270-square-foot lease renewal at 12350 Pinecrest Road in Reston.
Ezra Company Principal/Executive Vice President Gene Martin and Senior Vice President Damon Rothman represented Distributed Solutions in this transaction.
Martin says that Distributed Solutions’ prior lease was expiring, so he and Rothman provided their client with a range of real estate options throughout the Herndon and Reston submarkets. Ultimately, the aggressive deal provided by the landlord at 12350 Pinecrest Road led the software-solutions company to remain at its current home.
“We’re extremely pleased to have completed this transaction on behalf of Distributed Solutions,” Martin says. “Our client received a favorable deal that will allow it to continue operating from its existing location in Reston.”
Distributed Solutions’ corporate office is part of a four-building, 83,000-square-foot complex that is known as Reston Business Center and owned by Bethesda-based First Potomac Realty Trust.
The four-building campus, situated on approximately seven acres, features close proximity to numerous amenities at the nearby Fox Mill Shopping Center, as well as easy access to sites throughout Fairfax County as well as Reston Town Center.
