Senior Vice President
Dave Kinney joined The Ezra Company in 1981, and is a Senior Vice President in the Bethesda, MD office. Dave holds the record for continuous service at The Ezra Company. Having specialized in Northern Virginia real estate since 1979, Mr. Kinney is a storehouse of market knowledge, creative problem solving, and tenacious negotiating expertise.
Mr. Kinney's experience includes over six (6) years as a consultant for The County of Prince William handling portfolio management, consulting, and transaction services on behalf of The County of Prince William.
Mr. Kinney has represented such national corporations as Vie De France Yamazaki Bakery in a major area expansion and relocation, and Evaluation Research Corporation in a consolidation of four area locations into a new corporate headquarters.
Mr. Kinney's commitment to excellence is evidenced by the large amount of repeat business he handles. He is working on his third requirement for Information Management Consultants - initially 8,500 square feet in 1984, and the most recent requirement of 71,000 square feet. He has just completed his second and third requirements with Novell, Inc., where he handled the purchase of an office building near Dulles Airport and expanded and relocated the Boston, Massachusetts office.
Mr. Kinney also completed his fourth lease transaction for Sysorex Information Systems, Inc. for a computer integration/shipping facility in Winchester, Virginia. Prior to that, he represented Sysorex on their corporate headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia. Other repeat business includes Delex Systems, Inc. and KSK Communications, Ltd.
Mr. Kinney has written articles for The Greater Washington Board of Trade News and Washington Business Properties Magazine. He is also called upon frequently by commercial real estate appraisers to assess market conditions in Northern Virginia.
Mr. Kinney graduated with honors from the University of Oregon with a bachelor's degree in Finance - Real Estate, and was a member of the Business Honor Society. He is a member of the Washington DC Association of Realtors and the Washington Area Commercial Brokers Council (WACBC) where he has been the recipient of lease and/or sales awards consistently for the last ten years.
