Mr. Ezra brings over 20 years of real estate and entrepreneurial business experience to The Ezra Company. His real estate credentials include over a decade as a leading national real estate specialist with The Ezra Company followed by experience in founding and running two companies. His talents for building and managing teams and for sales and tactical decision making, together with a career encompassing innumerable in-depth negotiations has proven a successful combination for each venture in which Mr. Ezra has been involved.
Mr. Ezra is a Principal, Member of the Board of Directors, and the Chief Operating Officer of The Ezra Company. He is responsible for the overall management of The Ezra Company. Mr. Ezra has a very hands-on style of management and is actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring the company achieves the highest level of service for its clients.
In Mr. Ezra’s prior career at The Ezra Company, he quickly rose to the position of Senior Vice President and was a leader in The Ezra Company’s growth. He began the National Accounts Division and represented numerous fortune 500 companies in complex lease, purchase and build to suit transactions throughout the United States totaling over 3.5 million square feet. During Mr. Ezra’s career as an active broker, he was the recipient of numerous awards acknowledging his leadership in the industry, including the Greater Washington Commercial Association of Realtors Rooky of the Year Award and Lifetime Million Dollar Leasing Club Award, and numerous internal awards given within The Ezra Company, including Top Producer.
Mr. Ezra left The Ezra Company to co-found Core Location, an innovator in building mega carrier-neutral telecommunications and Internet data center facilities. With Mr. Ezra in the lead, Core Location raised over $200 million and developed and leased over 2.7 million square feet of data center buildings, before successfully exiting the market in what has been touted as one of the most successful real estate transactions in U.S. history.
Mr. Ezra then went on to found and serve as Chief Executive Officer of Honesty Online, a technology company that built patented technology focused on providing online identity verification for online communities.
Mr. Ezra attended The American University where he received his B.S.B.A. in both Real Estate and Finance. He a member of MindShare, an organization for CEOs in the technology community in the region, as well as a board member of the Greater Washington Commercial Association of Realtors (GWCAR).
Mark Ezra resides in Chevy Chase, Maryland with his wife and 4 children.
